Why the JP2 Project?
THE CITYStudents have the opportunity to live and learn in John Paul II’s ‘beloved Kraków’. From inside the classroom to on-site excursions, students are brought into conversation with the culture, the history, and the man, Karol Wojtyla.
|
THE STYLEOur programs not only teach students about St. John Paul II- in his city, but like JP II- in his style. From intellectual discussions to outdoor trips, youth are offered the challenge, adventure, and responsibility that lead to a life of greatness
|
THE CONTENTExperience an immersion in Polish culture and the vibrancy of the Catholic faith. Be formed in a joyful community life. Like young Karol Wojtyla, discover truth and beauty through music, art, theater, history, nature, people, and a living relationship with Christ.

My time in Poland has been blessed beyond belief.
I hardly have words to describe my experience. "
-Macie, Study Abroad Alumna
Programs are hosted at the JPII "Be Not Afraid!" Center, in the south of Krakow, Poland
The story of Karol Wojtyla, St. John Paul II, and the story of Kraków are interwoven in a chronological pilgrimage through the life of a saint that reveals, at the same time, the dramatic history and the majestic culture of a city where a boy grew into a man, a priest, a bishop- and an apostle to the world. "
