Applications for Fall 2019 will open spring 2019. Contact us to request a Student Information Pack, which includes information such as dates, costs, courses, and programming.
Application Process:
1. Applications are submitted online during open application periods (see below).
2. A Statement of Purpose explaining why you want to participate is uploaded.
3. One reference letter is submitted directly to the JP2 Project.
4. Applicants are notified within 5-10 business days after the application is completed.
5. A non-refundable deposit of $250 is due to reserve your spot.
Round I Application Period: Jan 2 - February 8, 2019.
Round II Application Period: March 1 - May 3, 2019.
Round III Application Period- Pending Availability: June 3 - July 22, 2019.

Finances
The JP2 Project is dedicated to offering affordable, high quality study abroad programs. The costs of studying abroad may still be daunting for some, but there is aid available for candidates with perseverance in applying. Your existing financial aid may also be used for studying abroad, depending on the type of financial aid you are receiving at your home institution. The John Paul II Project accepts your federal and private grants and scholarships, and offers particular awards and sponsorships. The Ambassador Novak Award
An award of $500 will be granted to a student with a minimum 3.0 GPA who has experience in the political sphere. Past or current experience in political work, activism, or public policy at the local, state, federal and international level will be considered. This award has been named after Ambassador Michael Novak, a supporter of The John Paul II Project and a teacher to the team. To apply, please submit below a brief essay explaining your experience in the political sphere along with your study abroad application. One reference listed in your application should be able to speak to your work and character in this realm. Submission and acceptance dates follow the same timeline as the application period. The Jon Scharfenberger Award
An award of $500 will be granted to a student with a minimum 3.0 GPA who has been active in the pro-life movement. Past or current experience in pro-life initiatives and ministry of all kinds, and especially related to pregnancy support, will be considered. This award has been named after Jonathan Scharfenberger, a great pro-life activist and friend of the founder. To apply, please submit below a brief essay explaining your experience in the pro-life sphere, along with your study abroad application. One reference listed in your application should be able to speak to your work and character in this realm. Submission and acceptance dates follow the same timeline as the application period. The Clare Crockett Award
An award of $500 will be granted to a student with a minimum 3.0 GPA who has experience in missionary or evangelization work. Past or current experience in local or international missions or Catholic evangelization activity at any level will be considered. This award has been named after Sr. Clare Crockett, a great missionary and apostle dear to the team. To apply, please submit below a brief essay explaining your experience in missionary or evangelization work along with your study abroad application.
